This 60-minute course will familiarize licensees with the forensic investigation of claims regarding mobile devices, cloud-based data storage, and vehicle data capture devices that are handled by property and technical cyber claims adjusters. It will show how the cyber/digital forensic expert is an integral part of the claim investigation process. Specifically, the course will discuss mobile device terms and concepts. Extensive course time will be given to discussing the various types of mobile devices, types of cloud-based storage and vehicle information systems. Additional time will be spent exploring the digital forensic process and how it aids the licensee in processing mobile data device claims.
This course is approved for one hour of continuing education credit in Texas, California & Florida.
