Karl Epps started his first Information Technology firm in 1996, managing computer networks in the Detroit Metro area. In 1998, he got his first Computer Forensic certification.
Karl sold his company and moved to the Phoenix metro area in 2001 and restarted his Information Technology practice there. As an IT consultant, Karl has managed hundreds of networks of all sizes over the last 28 years. In 2017, Karl closed down the network support side of his business to focus solely on Digital Forensics and Cyber Security.
Among his designations, Karl is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA), a EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) and a Certified Hacking Forensic Examiner (CHFI). Karl teaches digital forensics nationally and trains with private and public sector Forensic Examiners all over the United States. Karl works cyber claims for insurance companies and individual clients as well as civil and criminal cases involving numerous aspects of digital forensics including, but not limited to computers, servers, mobile devices, cloud, internet and geolocation technologies. Karl has been admitted as an expert witness in both State and Federal courts.
